FireFox problems

Every time that I try to go onto the internet with Firefox it gives me an error after a few minuts and says that it has to close. What is going on, this is really anoying and I can't get much done.

Have you recently made any alterations to firefox? (ie added any themes or mods)
Does the browser seem to shut down on particular sites.
I used to have the same problem when trying to access the VC with firefox, even after installing the java patch. Firefox just doesn't work with some javascript based sites such as the VC, you'll have to use IE for that.

Thanks Cacke-Man you were right it was only on certen sites. I downloaded all of the new java patches and now it works.

Some sites on the web are hardcoded to work with the IE browser. If you come accross one of these sites, and just hate switching from Firefox to IE just for that site, then you're in luck, as there is now a FF extetion that opens up a tab in Firefox, but uses the IE engine so you can access those sites now without switching browsers.
